Merging what are traditionally two separated tasks into one room allows better decisions for picture and sound, especially in turnkey film editorial projects where making accurate audio decisions in the rough cut stage can save hours in audio post.
The control room dimensions that accommodate video projection give us the symmetry and square footage to install a textbook 5.1 surround system. The control room serves as an editorial suite with non-linear editing or a full blown audio mixing suite with multiple formats, automated console and sizeable Pro Tools/HD 3 workstation. We can supply negative cut lists for theatrical shorts or features. For video projects, we master to Beta SP, DVCAM or other formats on request.

Audio Post
Mixing for broadcast, home release, corporate communications or theatrical is a specialty at Eastern Sky. An optimal 5.1 monitoring environment and DTS, Dolby Digital (AC3) and Dolby Surround (Pro Logic) encoding are available for your production. OMFI makes Avid exchanges a breeze, or if your prefer, DA-88 masters.
The control room features a Sharp LCD projector, 7-ft. screen and a large producer's desk in the visual and audio sweet spot. Thousands of sound effects from multiple libraries are at your disposal via a computer search and load program. We have extensive music libraries or can accommodate a custom score, even recording the score in 5.1 surround!
